The Kiwi survivors of the Haiti earthquake have been reunited with family in Miami.
Emily Sanson-Rejouis and her daughter Alyahna, 2, flew to Florida from the Dominican Republic yesterday afternoon.
The Nelson UN worker's husband, Emmanuel Rejouis, and their two eldest daughters, Kofie-Jade, 5, and Zenzie, 3, were killed in the quake.
Rejouis' sister, Anne-Louise, said from Miami that the pair had arrived safe and well.
"They're fine, they're safe," she said. "We were all very happy to see them.
"I'd like to say that we're all thankful for everybody's wishes and prayers for us."
Two-year-old Alyahna had "a few scratches but she's doing fine. She has a broken leg but has a cast over it."
Alyahna was rescued by her mother from the rubble of the Hotel Karibe in Port-au-Prince, where the family were staying.
The bodies of Rejouis and Zenzie have been recovered, but five-year-old Kofie-Jade has not been found.
The two were also met in Miami by Sanson, her mother Jennie Wilson, and father Roger Sanson, who arrived from New Zealand on Friday.
Sanson wrote online: "Emily and Alyahna are with us - safe and surrounded by family, love and support."
She told TV3 being reunited with the pair was "only the beginning".
"It's really now that Emily and Alyahna step off that airplane that it's going to be the really hard part.
"Alyahna is going to help all of us with the healing."
Meanwhile, Auckland teacher Samuel Picketts, 59, who was on holiday in the Caribbean, has contacted his family to say he is not in Haiti and is safe.
