Emergency services have been stood down after initially responding to reports of an incident involving a hazardous substance at an Auckland address.
Paramedics, Fire and Emergency and police were all called to a Grange Rd address in Mt Eden about 5.30pm.
A St John ambulance northern communications spokesperson initially said they were waiting for police to clear the scene, before they could enter.
However they later clarified that no patients needed to be transported or treated, and they left the scene.
A police spokesperson said at the request of St John police attended the address to assist with an 'agitated' patient.
