Auckland emergency service crews have rescued a man from a creek in Henderson this evening after he fell from a bridge.
The man was rescued from a creek near the intersection of Great North Rd and Henderson Valley Rd in Henderson.
A police spokeswoman told the Herald the man fell from the bridge and required assistance to get out again. The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Earlier, St John spokeswoman Chrissy Hamilton told the Herald they received a call at 7.11pm and are currently on the scene with other emergency service crews.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand, St John and the police are on the scene on the corner of Great North Rd and Henderson Valley Rd.
