A man has been helped from his car after a two vehicle crash in Manurewa, Auckland.
The crash happened near a service station on Great South Rd about 6pm.
A police spokesman said they were initially told a male was trapped in the vehicle, but he was later "helped out" of the car by rescuers.
The crash, which happened between Kevale Place and Mahia Rd, was partially blocking the lane.
