A person in a serious condition was airlifted to hospital after a truck crash on State Highway 1 south of Taihape.
The incident occurred near Gorge Rd around 9.30am on Thursday with Police, Hato Hone St John and Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) attending.
Police said the truck appeared to have rolled.
A St John spokesperson said an ambulance, a helicopter, a manager and one Prime (Primary Response in Medical Emergencies) vehicle responded to the incident.
Personnel assessed and treated one patient at the scene who was then airlifted to Palmerston North Hospital in a serious condition.
