Emergency services are battling to control a bush fire which has broken out at the rear of Waikumete Cemetery in west Auckland.
The NZ Fire Service says that the fire has been burning since about 7:15pm, but it was not yet clear how the blaze had started.
It is expected that fire personnel will be working through the night to subdue the flames.
Train operator Veolia advised that passengers on trains running on the nearby western line could expect to experience delays of up to 20 minutes.
