There is just one week left until the Greytown Community Board by-election.
Up for the one spot on the board are candidates Margaret Cole and Ian Farley.
The vacancy was left when elected member Kay Gray died. Voting papers were sent to Greytown residents in January and must be returned by February 11.
Locals are being reminded to make sure they are correctly enrolled to vote.
"Eligible electors who haven't enrolled or updated their details can do so up to and including Monday, February 10, but they cannot enrol on the day of the by-election," said Philip Parkes, registrar of electors for Wairarapa electorate.
