The Conservative Party is within a whisker of the 5 per cent threshold in the latest TV3 poll, sitting on 4.7 per cent, up 0.5 points, but its rival party New Zealand First remains over it, at 5.9 per cent.
New Zealand First would have 7 MPs and Conservatives wouldhave none unless it won an electorate seat.
National is up slightly to 46.7 per cent and would not be able to govern alone.
It would be able to govern with a bare majority if all of its current support partners, Act, United Future and the Maori Party, each kept an electorate seat.
However, National would be able to form a government comfortably with just New Zealand First.
Labour is up a little to 26.1 per cent but would be one seat short of a majority if it had the support of the Greens, Internet Mana New Zealand First and the Maori Party.
The full party vote results: National 46.7 per cent (up 0.3); Labour 26.1 (up 0.2 per cent), Greens 13 (up 0.4); NZ First 5.9 (up 0.1); Conservatives 4.7 (up 0.5); Internet Mana 1.7 (no change); Maori Party 1.3 (down 0.7); Act 0.3 (down 0.3); United Future 0.1 (no change.
Seats in the House (assuming Act, Mana and Maori Party kept one electorate seat): National 59, Labour 33, Greens 17, NZ First 7, Internet Mana 2, Maori Party 2, Act, 1 , United Future 1.
