A Northland crash has left an elderly woman trapped in her car with serious injuries.
Her vehicle collided with another car on the intersection of Pupuke Mangapa Rd and State Highway 10 near Kaeo.
Fire communications shift manager Jaron Phillips says the woman is in her mid-seventies and is trapped by her legs.
Emergency services at the scene and fire officers are trying to cut her free.
