The elderly West Auckland woman who died after her parked car rolled down a slope, trapping her against a wall, was Brenda Evans.
Police said the 73-year-old had returned to her Waitakere home around 2.30pm on Friday and reversed up to a raised carport.
It appeared that as she was getting out of the car it rolled into the side of Ms Evans' house, pinning her between the car door and B-pillar.
