KEY POINTS:
The elderly couple who went missing from their resthome in the Auckland suburb of Remuera last night have been found safe and well.
Inspector Turepu Keenan said the couple were found at about 10pm.
Police were concerned about the safety of the 79 year-old woman and 92 year-old man who went missing at about 4.30pm yesterday.
The woman suffers from alzheimers and the man from dementia and deafness and they have been reported missing before.
