Elderly pedestrians knocked down in Hamilton

Two elderly pedestrians are in hospital after they were knocked down in Hamilton today.

Both received moderate injuries when they were hit by a car in Hamilton East shortly before 10am, police said.

The car stopped and police said they are not looking for anyone else.
