An elderly man has been flown to hospital after he tripped at his Hawkes Bay home and fell through a plate glass window.
Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter crew said the chopper was sent to help after the 88-year-old man suffered head cuts and a dislocated hip when he tripped and went through the window at his Mahia home about 5.30pm.
He was flown to Hawke's Bay Regional Hospital.
