KEY POINTS:
An elderly man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a bike and vehicle collided in Mangere.
The man cycling and Inspector Kerry Watson said initial reports suggested he was not wearing a helmet.
Mr Watson said serious crash investigators were at the scene but the road was still open.
