The elderly couple killed in a crash at Dome Valley, north of Auckland, on Tuesday, have been named. The driver was 77-year-old Betty Edith Brown, from Papakura. The passenger was 78-year-old George Henry Harrison, from Pukekohe.
The pair were killed instantly when their car crossed the centre line on SH1 near Warkworth and was in a collision with an oncoming ute.
