Four fire crews have put out a blaze in the ceiling of a classroom at Mt Albert Grammar School tonight.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokeswoman said the fire was in the ceiling void of one of the Auckland school's buildings.
She said the power had been isolated and the fire extinguished. It was not clear how the fire had started but the fire service would be investigating.
It's not known how much damage was done by the fire.
A school representative has been informed, the fire spokeswoman said.
