KEY POINTS:
International award-winning Cuisine magazine editor Simon Wilson has lost his job as part of a restructuring at Fairfax Magazines.
The company today announced that his position was being "disestablished" and that day-to-day running of the food magazine would be handed over to a team led by editorial director Michal McKay, current editor of NZ House & Garden.
Also on the team will be food editors Lauraine Jacobs and Ray McVinnie, publishing consultant Julie Dalzell and wine consultant Kathie Bartley.
Wilson would leave the magazine after the completion of the summer issue which goes on sale in December, Fairfax Magazines general manager Lynley Belton said.
The magazine was awarded the title of world's best food magazine at the Gourmet Voice World Media Awards 2006.
