The funeral for four of the victims of the Easy Rider sinking will be held at Rugby Southland today.
The boat sank last week with nine people on board during a fishing trip on the Foveaux Strait.
Southland MP, National's Eric Roy will attend the funeral and will pay the respects of all members of Parliament.
"We understand their grief, we feel some of their pain and our prayers and thoughts are actually with them. I think we would also want those families who haven't got their loved ones back to know we're thinking of them.''
Dallas Reedy survived the sinking and six people remain unaccounted for.
