East Coast have the chance to win both the Wairarapa-Bush premier division B and President's grade rugby titles at Memorial Park, tomorrow.
Their opposition in the premier division B decider, kicking off on the No.1 ground at 1.15pm, will be Martinborough and while a close scoreline is anticipated the Coasters have had the edge in their recent meetings and nothing different will be expected this time.
Martinborough's best chance of an upset will come if their forwards can dominate the ball-winning areas as East Coast are at their most dangerous when their pacy outside backs are given the opportunity to display their attacking skills., none more so than young winger Nic Olsen who has scored 21 tries already this season.
The President's grade grand final sees East Coast up against Eketahuna on the No.2 ground, starting at 1pm, and here too the form books suggests the Coasters dseserve t start as favourites.
Also being played at Memorial Park tomorrow, at the early start time of 11.30am, is an under-19 match between East Coast and Stokes Valley while on Sunday Wairarapa-Bush JAB teams in age groups from 7yrs through to 13yrs will be involved in matches at Carterton against teams representing the Wellington-based Western Suburbs club.
