The Kiwi powerboat seeking a round-the-world record passed through the Panama Canal yesterday and last night was blasting north towards Mexico.
Tracking software showed the Earthrace 200km out to sea from the canal at Balboa and turning northwest for Acapulco, its next refuelling stop more than 2300km to the northwest.
