A live story-telling event is being held in Auckland tonight to raise money for the Christchurch Red Cross Appeal for victims of the earthquake that damaged the city on September 4.
Some of the country's leading arts and media talents will gather as "ordinary folk with extraordinary stories" to deftly weave together life, truth, reality and a creative approach to fact.
Oscar Kightley, Emily Perkins, Don McGlashan, Eve De Castro-Robinson, Steve Braunias, Arthur Meek, Noelle McCarthy, Simon Wilson, Marti Friedlander, Hamish Keith, Russell Brown and Leanne Pooley will all tell tales with the theme of "Survival".
The event is being held at the Auckland Museum at 7.30pm. Tickets are $25.
