The number of people enrolled to study early childhood at Waikato University has more than doubled this year.
A total of 101 students have been accepted for the one-year online graduate programme for 2009.
Overall enrolments at the university's School of Education are up almost a quarter on last year, with 491 new domestic students enrolled compared with 396 last year.
