Dyson is recalling one of its vacuum cleaners after it identified a potential fault which could see users suffer electrical shocks or burns.
The company said the Dyson DC05 Motorhead, sold between 2000 and 2005, could develop a crack in the handle which could expose electrical connections.
If the handle was not cracked there was no immediate danger, but DC05 owners were urged to contact Dyson and the company would issue a reinforced cuff for the handle, or owners could buy a new vacuum cleaner at a discounted price.
