The power blackout in Auckland today left Manukau District Court without electricity, leading to the hearing for dying fugitive Tifiga Atanoa being transferred to Papakura.
Atanoa, 33, was arrested in Mangere late on Friday night.
He had been on the run for 12 days after failing to appear in court on firearms and driving charges.
Atanoa has lymph node cancer with police saying that he has very little time to live.
