Dozens of revellers taking part in a "student flat crawl" on Saturday night damaged property and invaded a North Dunedin dairy.
Police received several calls reporting disorder and damage ''during the group's travels'' around the student quarter, Acting Senior Sergeant Damion Rangitutia said.
Dozens of people took part in the flat crawl, leaving behind damaged windows, letterboxes and a vehicle - ''all of which was attributed to this group''.
The group also entered a dairy, causing minor damage, and alarming a female shopkeeper, he said.
The people who entered the dairy were described as wearing dark themed-type clothing, making identification of the alleged offenders difficult, he said.
