The Dunedin community has paid tribute to "two lovely, caring and bright children" killed by their father last week.
Notices in the Otago Daily Times yesterday honoured Bradley Livingstone, 9, and Ellen, 6, who died in the St Leonards home they shared with their mother, Katharine Webb.
A notice from the community and board of St Leonards School described Bradley and Ellen as "lovely, caring and bright children", who had "so much potential".
"Taken so early and so cruelly from us. Katharine, our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you and your family," the notice read.
Another notice paid tribute to Bradley's "quirky sense of humour, energy and unending devotion to your mum and little sister. Your mum is a beautiful reflection of the love and light you brought to her world and we love you for that."
