Dunedin police are investigating a second armed hold in up in the city in three days.
A masked man armed with a knife made off with a small amount of money after holding up Elgin Food market in suburban Mornington shortly after 6pm yesterday, The Otago Daily Times reported.
A large knife and a purple and black jacket were later found several streets away.
Police were investigating whether the robbery was linked to another incident on Sunday night where a masked man pulled a gun on a shopkeeper at On the Spot Halfway Bush Convenience store.
