A Christchurch dumpling supplier has to pay more than $15,000 for employment breaches.
Dai's Food Limited failed to keep records of holidays and leave and provide employment agreements for all employees, a Labour Inspectorate investigation found.
The store supplied dumplings to restaurants and supermarkets in Christchurch, including the "Aunty Dai's Dumplings" chain.
Inspectorate regional manager Loua Ward said there were no excuses for the firm's breaches and urged anyone concered about their employment situation to contact the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Enterprise.
"Every employer must meet their obligations under New Zealand employment law," she said.
