A 25-year-old Masterton woman who drove home after her "sober driver" got drunk has pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
In Masterton District Court on Thursday, Amber Delane King pleaded guilty to one charge of driving with an excess breath alcohol reading of 610 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath on Hutt Rd on April 8.
Lawyer James Elliott said a family member who was meant to be the sober driver got drunk and King was forced to drive home.
Judge Barbara Morris sentenced King to nine months' supervision, disqualified her from driving and ordered her to undertake alcohol counselling.
