Police seized $800,000 worth of methamphetamine and precursor materials and made nine arrests after raids on four Manukau properties this week.
A number of firearms were also found during the raids.
Police said they searched a Mill Road, Alfriston property on Tuesday and found chemicals being used to make methamphetamine, or 'P'.
A 41-year-old man and 30-year-old woman who own the property were charged with possession of equipment for methamphetamine manufacturing and police said more charges were likely to follow.
They said three children living at the address had been referred to Child, Youth and Family.
On Wednesday, police searched a Robert Skelton Drive, Manurewa, property where they found precursor chemicals, utensils and equipment used for P manufacture as well as 26 grams of cold medicine Contact NT - enough to make up to seven grams of methamphetamine.
Police are still to interview a 38-year-old man in relation to the search.
Pre-cursor substances worth $750,000 and thirty grams of methamphetamine with a street value of $30,000 were also seized yesterday from a property on East Coast Rd, Kaiaua, police said.
A 39-year-old man and two 30-year-old women who rent the property face charges of possession of methamphetamine for supply and possession of precursor substances for the manufacture of the drug.
Child, Youth and Family had been notified of an 11-year-old who lived at the address but who was not home during the search.
Today police found methamphetamine manufacturing equipment, as well as other drug paraphernalia, cannabis, three rifles, a pump-action shotgun and a pistol at a Maretai Road addresss.
Four men, aged 18, 23, 38 and 44, are facing drugs and firearms charges following the search.
Detective Inspector Dave Lynch said this week would be one of the best weeks on record for the Counties-Manukau district's police enforcing the district's methamphetamine control strategy.
He said it reflected the sustained pressure being applied to organised crime networks involving in the manufacture and supply of methamphetamine.
