Six men were found guilty yesterday of conspiracy to supply the highly addictive drug methamphetamine.
A High Court jury in Palmerston North convicted Andrew Crombie, Gary O'Connell, Dennis Hines, Adrian Chatfield, Stanley Sole and Nathan Poihipi after deliberating on the verdict for two days.
A seventh man, Willie Hines, entered a guilty plea to the same charge earlier in the trial.
The charges were laid against the drug ring following a police operation - codenamed Excelsior - in Levin last year.
The operation involved the planting of listening devices on Crombie's mobile and landline phones.
Another device was planted in his Levin home.
The bulk of evidence in the 4 1/2 week trial came in the form of surveillance tapes, which were played to the court.
Justice Warwick Gendall remanded the men in custody for sentencing on June 10.
