A Chinese man and woman recaptured after six months eluding police have had their bail hearing adjourned until later this month.
Xie Jianzhong, 36, and Huang Hong Quin, 34, appeared briefly in Auckland District Court yesterday.
The Auckland couple fled in February after being charged with importing drugs to manufacture methamphetamine.
They were arrested last December after police found pseudoephedrine, used to make P, and blank credit cards under their house.
Police believed they had left the country, but they were picked up at a Pakuranga house in southeast Auckland last month.
