A committee of MPs says a bill aimed at banning street sex workers from Manukau City should be dropped.
The bill aimed to make it an offence to solicit for prostitution in a public place in Manukau City.
But Parliament's local government and environment select committee said it did not believe the bill would produce the results its promoters wanted.
