The man charged with killing a woman in a Wellington driveway denies murdering her.
The 58-year-old today also pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving over the limit with a breath-alcohol reading of 510 micrograms, and assault using a vehicle as a weapon.
Levin woman Delia Williams, 55, died in the driveway of a house she was visiting in the capital city suburb of Northland in March.
The man's not guilty pleas were made in the High Court at Wellington today.
His lawyer, Judith Ablett-Kerr, QC, argued for name suppression to continue, in discussions suppressed by Justice Simon France.
