We are a leading Beekeeping Operation based in Masterton and we are getting ready for another successful season.
This is not your average driving job and in the race to chase the manuka flower, we do whatever it takes to be there on time to harvest nature's most valuable resource.
This challenging role takes you to all corners of the North Island. Mostly at night and almost always in remote rural, off road locations.
We operate a modern fleet of vehicles and are looking for motivated, experienced drivers to join our night crew teams to shift our hives throughout the North Island in the coming Manuka season (September to March). In the peak of season we roster our teams on so we can be running 7 days per week, but on average you will be working 6 days per week between 6pm - 6am.
Do you have:
• A Class 2 licence (or higher)
• A clean driving record
• Experience with tractors, forklifts and towing trailers
• Experience in off road driving
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• A good level of physical fitness
• A great attitude and the ability to work as a member of a dedicated team
• Able to travel away from home for extended periods of time
• Comfortable with using technology to get the job done
• NZ residency and/or able to work in NZ
• Confidence to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
We will supply you with all the required tools to get the job done, including protective clothing etc.
Given the nature of this work it would be preferable that you are not allergic to bee stings.
