A young man who was behind the wheel of a car during a crash which killed the granddaughter of one of New Zealand's leading entertainers has pleaded guilty.
Kiriana Morrison, the 17-year-old granddaughter of the late Sir Howard Morrison was killed in the crash in Auckland on February 19 last year.
She was a rear-seat passenger in one of two cars that collided about 2.15am on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway.
Samuel Griffiths was the responsible driver and pleaded guilty in the High Court at Auckland this morning to driving dangerously causing death and driving dangerously causing injury.
