One person is trapped in a truck after it rolled in the Tasman District.
Police rushed to the scene on River Terrace Rd between Mount Heslington Rd and Lee Valley Rd before midday to find the truck had rolled.
Fire crews were en route to the scene to assist an occupant out of the truck, who was trapped in the vehicle.
A Southern district fire spokesperson confirmed the person trapped was the driver of the vehicle. St John ambulance was also in attendance.
Police said the truck had also caused an oil spill on the road, which was closed following the incident.
