A motorist has been threatened with a double barrel shotgun in the latest road rage incident.
Following an argument at traffic lights in Otahuhu, south Auckland this morning, the firearm was pointed towards the driver.
The motorist phoned police and the vehicle was located a short time later.
After a search, police located the shotgun and ammunition in a readily accessible position.
A 31-year-old Otahuhu male has been arrested and will be facing a series of firearms charges, police said.
