KEY POINTS:
Police are trying to find the driver of a Subaru sedan after the "dump and run" of a man's body at Auckland City Hospital.
A man drove the body to the hospital's Accident and Emergency ward at 12.10am today but left immediately after staff removed it from his car.
A post-mortem examination on the body began at 10am. The dead man is believed to have been middle-aged and of eastern European descent.
Police are treating his death as suspicious.
An area around the Accident and Emergency ward has been cordoned off ahead of a scene examination later today.
