A driver caught speeding past a Rotorua school 10 times in an hour is in for a hefty bill.
The driver was snapped by a speed camera outside Westbrook School, the Rotorua Post reports.
Since February the tolerance for motorists speeding outside schools has been lowered from 10kmh to 5kmh.
Senior Sergeant Ed Van Den Broek of the Rotorua police said the driver would be fined for each offence.
The standard fines are: between 6kmh and 10kmh above the speed limits $30, between 11kmh and 15kmh $80 and between 16kmh and 20kmh $120.
