A driver suffered serious injuries after crashing through a fence in Auckland this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Great South Rd, Greenlane about 5pm.
Acting Senior Sergeant Chris Money, of the police northern communications centre, said the driver sustained minor injuries when the car crashed through a fence and ended up on its side.
The person may have been affected by a medical condition, he said.
Reports were conflicting about whether one or two vehicles were involved in the crash and that could not be immediately verified.
