Northland police are searching for the driver of a car that drove off a highway and crashed into a residential garage in Coopers Beach tonight.
At 7.20pm today police were notified of a car that had travelled off State Highway 12 and discovered in the garage.
Police said it's unclear at what time the crash actually happened and have been unable to locate the driver.
Ambulance are at the scene of the crash but no one is injured.
