Driver critical after crash

A 65-year-old was last night in a critical condition in hospital after the car he was driving collided with a vehicle carrying five men early yesterday.

The crash, between a car and a small van outside the Tamaki Yacht Club clubrooms about 1.50am, closed the road between Mission Bay and Okahu Bay until 6am.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
