Range Rover Sport
Like its larger sibling, the new Range Rover is equally talented as a top-line luxury vehicle or hard-core off-road vehicle. The interior is as sumptuous as that of any luxury sedan and affords occupants a commanding view of the world outside. Yet it also has low-range, staggering axle articulation and can wade through 850mm of water.
That breadth of ability is a remarkable achievement in itself.
But the Sport also delivers a truly driver-oriented experience that does justice to its name.
The turbo-diesel models are completely unstressed and surprisingly economical, thanks in part to the Sport's all-aluminium construction that has reduced weight by hundreds of kilograms compared with the previous model.
