Hamilton police are investigating a drive-by style shooting in the suburb of Fairfield.
Senior Sergeant Pete van de Wetering said the shooting happened about 12.45pm yesterday when two men got out of a maroon car in Tennyson Rd and fired shots.
"One of them removed what appears to have been a shotgun from a carry case and passed it to his associate who fired several shots in the direction of a dwelling," he said.
The men then got back in the car and sped away.
Nobody was injured and no property damaged, but police would like to speak to anyone with information.
