KEY POINTS:
A man walking with his children in Invercargill yesterday was shot in the stomach with an air pistol fired from a passing car at 12.30pm.
Police said the 41-year-old did not need medical treatment. The car was followed to an address and a 16-year-old boy is being referred to Youth Aid.
