Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to remove a teenage boy's arm from a drinks vending machine in West Auckland yesterday after it became stuck when he reached into the machine to get a drink.
Emergency services were called to the VisionWest Community Trust training centre in Glen Eden just before 11am.
Last night, the 15-year-old was recovering at home.
