A Thai vine worker faces drink-driving charges after a van carrying six fellow workers rolled near Blenheim yesterday.
The driver of the van lost control on a shingle road near the Wairau River about 5.40pm yesterday, Constable Martin McDonald of Blenheim police said.
One of the passengers was flown to Wellington Hospital with head injuries.
A 35-year-old Thai national male would appear in Blenheim District Court on October 5 facing charges of careless driving causing injury, driving while forbidden and drink driving, Mr McDonald said.
