A Thames teenager on a restricted licence was picked up by police three times over the weekend for drink driving but is legally still allowed on the road.
Thames police Sergeant Tony Mumford said: "It just shows he has got a complete disregard for the law."
The 19-year-old was also given instant fines for driving an unwarranted vehicle as well as not stopping at a stop sign and driving outside the conditions of his restricted licence.
Mr Mumford said the teenager did not lose his licence because a driver's licence was only suspended if the driver was more than double the legal limit.
He said that that law was there for heavy drinkers with high breath-alcohol levels.
"There is nothing really that covers the repeat incidents because they don't really happen that much."
The teenager will appear in Thames District Court on Friday.
