A Carterton woman, 59, with five previous drink driving convictions, has admitted a sixth drink driving charge.
Melody Martin was found to be more than twice the legal alcohol limit when stopped by police near Greytown on May 3.
Before Judge Arthur Tompkins, Martin pleaded guilty to drink driving. She returned a reading of 206mg of alcohol per litre of breath when stopped by police just before 11pm on State Highway 2.
Judge Tompkins called a for a pre-sentence report to assist the court as it was her sixth conviction for drink driving since 1996.
He remanded Martin on bail with instructions she is not to drink, buy or possess alcohol. Sentencing is on September 4.
